Walk 1:43:32 [3] 6.34 km (16:19 / km) +216m 13:57 / km
shoes: Kayano 26

A walk up Black Mountain with Eoin and Aoife. Got a few geocaches on the way (only the 4 that were on our way). Saw an enormous mushroom - I thought someone had left an old football in the bush at first glance. Quite a few people out - we've never done this walk before so I don't know if it was more than normal, I do often see a few at various points when I run around the top...
5 PM

Run 35:13 [3] 4.94 km (7:08 / km) +103m 6:28 / km
shoes: Kayano 26

A quick run with Nat before dark. Good to get out and the afternoon light was stunning - its been a while since I ran at this time of day :)
still fairly warm out, which was surprising as had started getting cold in the house.
Did not stop for a wee.

shoes: Sidi MTB

A long ride to follow up the long run! Nat came up with a great plan to get us across to Stromlo. Really enjoyed this, especially Stromlo - I’d forgotten how fun these tracks are. A bit sloggy from Cork Oaks to coffee where we got overtaken by some serious runners/triathletes.
The day started poorly when I broke the top off my valve when pumping up the rear tyre. Managed to find a plastic cap to protect it, and used blue tac to seal the cap and set off wondering how long it would last. All good, made it hone with about the same pressure I started with.

Saw a few others out and about enjoying a chilly morning before a stunning blue sky day

Run 1:26:44 [3] 12.89 km (6:44 / km) +184m 6:17 / km
shoes: Kayano 26

Epic (well it felt epic) long run with Nat. No stops, I’m sure our brains knew a stop just meant suffering for longer. Very sore by the end. Beautiful morning out, saw quite a few others but probably less than has been usual lately. Wind was strong.
4 PM

MTB 42:37 [3] 7.16 km (10.1 kph) +61m
shoes: Sidi MTB

Quick spin to get girls out of the house. Getting faster, stronger.

Run 54:16 [3] 7.69 km (7:04 / km) +120m 6:33 / km
shoes: Kayano 26

Splashy morning out with Nat. Great to get this done early, followed by a reasonably productive day. For the first time in a long time, I am actually feeling fairly fit for Easter.

I've had lots of excuses in the form of niggles, busy and its cold outside, but today managed to ditch all those. Great to be out!
