Fun but tough. The green was very green so cutting through required a lot more commitment than I had in me today. I was too cautious, but too lazy to run around the tracks. Enjoy running through the swamp at the end - perfect conditions for it! Lost time on 9 (ran north and off the map apparently). Also poor route to 4, and probably should have gone straight to 3. Also should have gone track instead of straight to 20.

Saturday morning from the pool. Up around Parliament House. Today's excitement involved Nat and then both of us being attacked by a crow. It definitely wasn't a Magpie or a Currawong.

From Wallagoot Gap to Kianinny Bay. Another great run, had the wind behind us after the cool change came through :)
I was feeling under the weather, running too soon after lunch and adding to the hip woes, right ankle and shoulder both randomly sore (maybe from swimming or surfing?).
Adding to our issues, after crossing a rocky bay we lost the track. Rather than backtrack, we cut through a long section of closely intertwined melaleuca to refind it which certainly slowed our average pace. This happened to be right when Patrik and Andy were running past from the other end, so they never met up with us and we got to the finish well before them and waited in the cold for quite a while!
