Well that was woeful. I hurt my toe earlier today (running down the stairs in socks to get the phone... dangerous!). I was having to run a bit oddly and it was a bit distracting but appears to be the least of my worries. Wore glasses today, none of the shaky ground issues from last week thank goodness.
#1 - went a bit high and then too tentative getting back down the steep slope, #2 a bit right and tentative, #3 was good, #4 picked a good route, but heading in saw BillJ stopped where I thought the control should be. Got nervous and went on a wild goose chase. Eventually came back to where he was after seeing others and found it very low. #5 OK, #6 OK - was with Nat for these two, #7 had my head down reading the map to 9 running on a track and completely lost track of where I was, came off track in completely wrong direction, totally lost. #8 wobbly and also stopped to explain to some walkers what was going on, they'd better turn up next week :) #9 had a good route as I'd planned it already on way to 7 but poor execution. Lost my marbles after gully crossing and did a tour of cherry trees - I needed a pine tree way up the hill, #10 OK but was very easy, #11 goo, #12 goo, #13 was tentative and surprised to see Nat behind me. #14 managed to get myself up the hill, but 2 big fences nearly did me in. Basically amateur hour - I took an hour!
