Very marginally better. At least there was only 1 mistake. Too bad it was near on 10 minutes worth.
I did enjoy myself today which was an improvement.
Most significant achievement of the day was successfully spotting a dropped SI stick between17 and 18. One very relieved owner!

Control collecting without a compass. Went fine with short legs.
Followed by a super refreshing swim.

Yet another shocker. Lost 5 min on the first control. Similar on 10. Not much better on quite a few others. Need to slow down, read the detail and not panic. My mistake at 1 was a direction problem. Was using the tracks and beach as north lines, so everything was ~45 deg off!. Other mistakes I was so close but did not see flag and panicked... need to read and concentrate.
