Awoonga. As nice as always. It wasn't what I was expecting, but I wasn't in charge :). I need to start running faster, I spent a fair bit of time redesigning the course …

Waking up controls. Beautiful morning and heaps of fun. Still not running very confidently due to grass hiding dangerous rocks. Matt has set some great courses. Should have sent more people to the cave as it was an actual bat-cave with a cluster flying out as I started that control.

Collecting controls and danger tape. Nearly tripped over some of the tape I was rolling up and if I had the result would not have been pretty as it was a deep hole!

Lots of hands meant very light work and collection was done very efficiently.

Also had a chat to the landholders out there.

Putting out and checking controls. Beautiful day out! Fog had lifted by the time we got started. Finished in time for refreshments from the distillery.

Not very competent with my watch today. Anyway, I felt alright just wanted to keep it on the short side to avoid setting anything off. Pretty chilly today.
