Road ride! Reckon it has been 2 years since I jumped on the roadie. Step 1 was to replace the gear cables, and then rolled from Pymble thru' Bobbo and back. Got up the hills OK, but the gears on my bike have definitely got bigger.

Sunday afternoon loop from Lindfield around Middle Harbour. It was too late to start this run, but I figured Id have a crack anyway. Have been working all weekend and was keen to get out.

Cruisy run on a beautiful evening by the water until it got dark at Roseville bridge for the run back to Lindfield. You know you're familiar with a trail when you don't need a light to get home.

Slow easy trot from Fishermans up to North Narra. Chilly with tide so high, not much beach in places.

Running 1:00:00 [3]

Back in action. After making use of the unusual burst of corporate busy-ness to rest the calf niggle, I headed to Homebush with Annika for javelin training - plan being to have a good stretch and a little jog.

After a nice big dose of stretching and drills with the youngsters I headed off for a bit of a jog and felt loose enough to stretch out a few 400's. 80, 74, 70, 78, 73. Legs felt good - fitness, not so much.

Starting to think that the track sessions contributed to last year's decent running form more than I gave them credit. Not so much fitness, but good running posture and extension. Should do more often.

A gentle plod to check on the niggliness of calf.
