Bantry Bay loop then Magazines. Reminded myself that running on rough tracks is what makes running fun.

Accidently picked up the iPod with Annika music on it. Lasted half an hour listening to Miley Cyrus. Interesting to hear how blatantly manipulative tweenie-targeted music is. "Im a rock star, but really I just got lucky and am just like you. I want to be your bestie, if you come to my concert we can hang out".

Northbridge paddle again. Better than yesterday but need to get on the water more.

Impressed to paddle past the Northbridge Junior fleet, and see a couple of the boats are the same ones that were sailing when I was in that fleet 30 years ago. Plywood is durable stuff.

Northbridge return. Spent half an hour grinding in to a 10-15kt headwind, then half an hour pondering why headwinds just more than downwind helps.

Suprised at how crap I felt. Got soaked too.

2/10 on the enjoyable commute scale.

Very suprised to find that the Malga Avenue hill had been graded to become a dirt road while I was at work. Made for an interesting descent combined with the fact it was my first ride home for the year in the dark.

Hopefully it means fresh hotmix on the way.
