shoes: Sea Vanquish

Steady trip to the pipeline, turning early at the junction. One of those gloriously peaceful evenings.

Had a read of the history boards near where I launch. There's a photo from the top of my paddle taken in 1890 - hasn't changed.

Also shows a journal entry from the trip Governer Philip took there in 1788 looking for land. It describes it as

"the most desert wild and solitary seclusion the imagination can form any idea of".

No wonder I enjoy the morning paddle so much. Seclusion with the benefit of an espresso machine 10 minutes away. Best of both worlds, to quote the minister for the environment.

10min bike, 10min row, 10min run just to loosen up. Felt much better for it afterwards.

Rode the Yeti home with its new swing arm. First ride on it since Africa, stopped a few times to adjust the setup to match what Id settled on there.

Killarney run at 11pm after an intense 12hr day.

Turning off the brain and just running felt fantastic. Plastique Bertrand effort at 20minutes just what i needed.

Rode the Santa Cruz Loungechair back in to the shop. Starting to quite like it.
