Running 1:25:00 [3]
Morning spin up the two creeks track to Lindfield. One of those rare days when a glorious morning combines with bouncy legs and fresh engine, leading to a cheerful me and a 5min negative split (inc. 23min from Nosh start to the bridge doing it easy).
Reflected that the "why" behind training has more to do with such outings than getting fit for races.

Saturday morning juggle. Katrin headed off early and dropped Tom at Gym on the way to a ski race at Pittwater. I went for a run in parallel, then went to the gym to drop Annika and collect Tom. Took Tom to rugby, briefly crossing paths with Katrin on her return from ski race. Swapped cars so I took the one with the ski and she took Tom home.
Tour of north harbour, with 20kt and a southerly swell to make it nice and bouncy along the walls. The swordfish ski may not have quite the same run as the Elite, but is a hoot through the washing machine because it is both stable and agile. Good fun.
Finished with 14 * 2min efforts of steadily decreasing quality as the arms blew. Overly optimistic to paddle that far without food or water.
