Kayak 2:00:00 [3]

Sporting-parent biathlon. Paddled while Tom sailed MJs in the morning, and then run in the afternoon when he was crewing on F11's.

Good day for paddling, less so for the kids sailing. A big low the day before had left a nice S/E swell rolling in the heads and bashing off the wall at Dobroyd, while the wind had died leaving a millpond for the kids to float on in North Harbour. I buggered off to do laps in the slop along the wall, returning every now and then to check they hadnt all gone home.

Joined by Hugh who was paddling his new Double Carbon Elite with 6 y.o Sam in the back seat.

Running 1:30:00 [3]

Afternoon run from the skiff club around to the lookout at Tania Park and back. I should do this more often as I got a 90min run in and could watch the kids on the harbour below at the same time.

Running 50:00 [3]

Late afternoon trot to check out which bits of the valley got burned last weekend. Helped build a fence earlier in the day which was more strenuous than the run.

Running 45:00 [3]

You know it has been a busy week when the first opportunity for a lunch run comes at 3pm on Friday. Tired plod.

Kayak 1:05:00 [3]
shoes: Mako 6

Dropped Annika at Roseville station at 6:20am as usual (she has band on Tuesdays) but this time took the ski and snuk in a paddle on the way home.

Warm and windy spin down to Northbridge and back. Plenty of room for improvement.

Strength (Hippie Stretching) 45:00 [3]

Boldly stepped up to the advanced yoga class after work, or at least a different style with a clientelle that were clearly more serious about their art than the lunch-time sessions.

Bit of a Billy Elliot feel with only 2 chaps, myself included, in a class of ~20 people. Reasonably happy with how I was keeping up until the very end when the (pregnant) instructor said, "right, lets finish with a full lotus". Yeah, right.

Lots of hip stretching with is really good for me. I am either going to get faster or injured from the yoga experiment.
