Night time river loop with the Ayup, after spending the entire day in a smoky field in Penrith watching softball.

Nice to be out at night, but made the mistake of not eating enough beforehand, and only realised 20min in with a big bonk.

Impressed by the number of wallabies along the trail after dark.

Middle Head loop from North Sydney with Andy, Steve Ryan, Brooner and a couple of Euro-ienteers.

Great way to ease back in to the weekend long run routine, with a respectable tempo broken up by a few minutes of Middle Head fort touristing and an Icy Pole at Balmoral.

Running along Balmoral beach in a group each balancing an Icy Pole in their hand reminded me of the Cartlon Draught spoof-car-chase beer add.

Felt quite good.

Yoga 50:00 [3]

Holy crap. The Friday after work yoga class is on a completely different planet than its lunchtime counterpart.

No serene, tree hugging, do-what-you-can hippiness this time. Rather, a boot camp style "bend your ass sunshine" session that was quite intense.

Came away slightly shocked, but very flexible. Liked it.

Kayak 55:00 [3]

Came home last night to find a Fenn Spark lying on the lawn. Turned out Katrin has borrowed Yanda's demo ski for a try.

Dragged my ass out of bed at 5 for a paddle down at clontarf, and happy for the effort once out on the water.

Nice little boat - genuinely low volume, and a much better fit than the 'normal' skis designed by 120kg saffas. Pretty lively and felt quick - but hard to say without a GPS.

Warm up on the streets with Maxi, then late night 400's up at Starkey solo. 10*400 on 2 minutes in about 80 - reflecting that I probably couldn't have got away with intervals straight after dinner in pre-AR days.

Tuesday beach run from Curly to Manly and back. Had planned to do intervals, but too mentally tired to get in to it. Cruised down and back counting the dead mutton birds on the beach.
