Running 1:48:00 [3] 17.85 km (6:03 / km)

Enjoyable Sunday morning run from Andy's new place on a sunny morning with a real Spring feel. We headed over the river and south towards Hunters Hill to shape a new loop which worked out quite well. Really nice mix of trails, parks and harbourside trotting (Huntley's point is nice). Room to improve the return journey and shave off a bit of road, but a nice run.

Interesting to note that my watch was consistently dropping about 3% distance on Andy's thru' the run. Will try a software upgrade and see it that helps.

Running 50:00 [3]

Back on the hills with 5 reps up Awaba St in Balmoral. The balmoral burn course is approx 60m climb over 400m (so about 15% ave), I went to the roundabout for an extra 50m and a bit more climb.

Got gradually quicker on each rep, with soft quick steps seeming to be the most efficient way to get up the hill. Good bang for buck session.

Running 50:00 [3]

Beer stairs with Ondrej and Andy. Worrying development to discover the Quarrymans' paddles. Fairly cruisy running bit...nice collection of beers.

Running 50:00 [3]

First attempt at tempo in a month. Ran at usual tempo, but dropped in a 2min break at half way. 19:20 for 5k. Didn't feel very snappy at all, but slowly getting going again.

Running 53:30 [3]

Night Narrabeen beach run. 3 minutes over par but didn't feel that slow. Sand felt wet and heavy..not sure if that was the sane or me. Felt better than yesterday though, and beautiful to be out on the sand with no one around.

Running 45:00 [3]

Slow plod around the wharves searching for my running legs. They felt ridiculously tired after yesterday's relatively easy trot.
