Sunday Jan 21 #

Running 5:37:00 [3] 33.0 km (10:13 / km)

Mountain Lagoon adventure as per the write-ups of Andy, Bart, Ondrej, Dave, Brooner & Keelan (and Ondrej's GoPro video on fb).

The reason I stay fit these days is basically so I'm able to do runs like this. Rippingly good fun.

Saturday Jan 20 #

Other 2:00:00 [3]

My turn to sail today, with Annika on the 13. Rusty after a month off, but got around with some fun hoons down the harbour.

Friday Jan 19 #

Kayak 4:00:00 [3]

Last day of the F11 Nationals, and another 3 races making for a long day on the ski. Glorious weather and good sailing for the kids. I think Ive already paddled more in 2018 than I did in 2017.

Thursday Jan 18 #

Kayak 4:00:00 [3]

Another long day on the ski. Wind had dropped off but still plenty of bounce around on the Sound. Good to be paddling again.

Wednesday Jan 17 #

Kayak 4:00:00 [3]

Nice long paddle with 3 races today. Very windy and choppy again....fun.

Tuesday Jan 16 #

Running 1:50:00 [3]

Too windy for sailing today. Instead I ran around to Squatters Cove from Balmoral to check out the big swell on the Bombora. Huge surfable waves on the harbour made for a very impressive sight. Ran in to Richard Green on the way home and stopped for a chat.

Monday Jan 15 #

Kayak 2:30:00 [3]

Biig conditions today, and somewhat surprised that the kids went out. Wind was a steady 25kts gusting 35, and a tinge of east to the Southerly meant the swell was running. Tough group of kids I must say, and some impressive sailing on display. Tom had a great day, and I had a lot of fun on the ski. Arms pooped by the end.
