Running (Sprint o) 20:29 [3]

Fun sprint o at Georges Heights. A reasonably clean run except for losing about 40s at #15 because the flag was missing. Andy ran 19, and Aidan managed 17 I think.

I can’t really read the fine detail on the map and am guessing a bit in the circle at times. Really should get some glasses one day.

Post sprint trot with Bull around the zoo foreshore. My legs were heavy from yesterday’s squat feat... struggled up the stair sections badly.

Randomly ran in to my boss at Chowder Bay.

Crewed on the 13 today with Tom driving. With a variable 8-10 knots I did about a million squats in and out in the wire for some tired leggies by the end. Went pretty well...Tom is fun to Sail with...always cool, calm and cheerful regardless of what’s going on.

Beer stairs with Andy. For something dfferent we reversed the direction and started in the middle - which turned out to be a complete mindfuck. You cant realty reverse a stsirs loop unless you do downstair intervals, and so it didn't flow as easily with more 'double downs'.

Aside from all that it was f'ing hot and humid, and the overriding thought was to get to Qarryman's as quickly as possible. A pint of Fresh Ale went down real well before dashing back to work for the next meeting.

Quick Monna’s session squeezed in to a busy week. I aimed to do it Ondrej style keeping some flow thru the floats. Went out a tad hard and felt the last 5mins as a result. Interestingly it was harder to maintain flow in the floats than the efforts at the end. Covered about 5.1k in the 20min.

Late afternoon tempo wharfie. 5km in 18:58. Felt pretty good...helluva lot better than late last week.
