Running (Mt Ainslie Base Loop) 27:00 [3] 5 km (5:24 / km)
Easy run with Bron (my new housemate) around the foothills of Mt Ainslie, legs felt pretty tired up the hills after the weekend but it was great to get out! Now I'm off for a week of training down at the coast - woohoo!!

Sunday Mar 30

Orienteering race (Canberra Cup) 1:08:06 [5] 9.6 km (7:06 / km)
Felt alright running the first loop, no mistakes... the second loop was a bit tougher, and then on the third loop I decided to look at the course distance... bad move! When I read 9.6km I felt about 10x more tired than I was!!! Ran as hard as I could the whole way and was really happy with my result! I think more than a few days training would have helped me run a bit faster! Whoops...

Event: ASC Galaxy & Canberra Cup

Orienteering race (Galaxy Sprint - UC) 11:47 [4] 2.3 km (5:07 / km) +10m 5:01 / km
ahr:184 max:198 shoes: New Balance 790
Felt alright, ran as hard as I could and considering how much training I have done lately was pretty happy with myself. Only a few small mistakes on route choice.
Orienteering race (SILVA Sprint Relay) 9:00 [5] 1.4 km (6:26 / km)
ahr:187 max:205 shoes: New Balance 790
Dave did the first leg, then I went out on the second loop. It was really fun and technical! Ran as hard as I possibly could, and managed to be just behind Briohny in the finish chute!
Orienteering race (SILVA Sprint Relay) 9:30 [5] 1.5 km (6:20 / km)
ahr:187 max:205 shoes: New Balance 790
The second time out on the final leg was a lot harder! I felt sooo tired and sore the whole way round but ran as hard as I could! Briohny and I were close the whole way and we had a sprint finish and ended up finishing at the same time!
Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

Running (Mt Ainslie) 29:20 [3]
ahr:158 max:179 shoes: Nike Structure Triax 10+
Went for a jog towards Mt Ainslie to check out some good tracks from my new house over in Campbell, managed to find myself half way up the mountain in 15mins, which was a suprise! Felt good, and did some stretching after which was good too!

Thursday Mar 27

Running (Ria's Run) 47:15 [3]
ahr:149 max:171
Early morning run from Ria's house, I have missed doing these runs! It's quite dark now in the mornings so we mostly ran on the bike paths/streets.

Wednesday Mar 26

Weights (Body Pump) 45:00 [2]
First time in a while and although I felt good while I was doing it the pain hit me the next morning! I think its time to start training again now...
