Happy New Year!

Robin, Cheryl started out for Mail Box but opted for Tiger Mountain due to snow and high winds.

Started out near I-90 Exit 18. Hiked up to the Nook Trail up to the Section Line Trail ( think this was part of the route) to West Tiger 3 Summit back down ending up on the One View Trail down the Poo Poo Point Trail and back down to the parking lot. Even saw part of the route for the fat ass next weekend (Ribbons and ornaments lined the route.)

(correct me if I am wrong on the stats or route guys)

Couldn't find the big Salomon pack so I filled up a 10oz bladder and stuffed the smaller Salomon pack full with clothes, food, etc to give it some weight.

Good elevation gain over a short preriod leading up to West Tiger 3 via Nook Trail and Section Line Trail.

Cheryl and I went out for a new year's eve training ride. Started at Gas Works Park ended past Woodenville. 1 hour at average pace (15-16 mph) 30 minutes faster pace (18 mph) then back down to average pace to finish out the ride. No rain, snow or mud but it was a bit cold on the way back when the sun went down. We practiced drafting off each other for a short time but the darkness got us and my light was not ideal for riding at night.
