today we did 18 min of aerobics, which caused my feet to hurt b/c i hav uncomfortable shoes when you run and stuff in them for a while (it hurts the inside of my feet). but all good
Then we played badminton, and i got a couple of good shots in

In class we were playing badminton. We played singles for about half the class (and I sucked today, I was just slow), and then we played doubles. My partner was Dylan. It was fun because it was Dustin and Danya playing against me and Dylan. It was a very close game (like 22-20 or something like that).

For like 10-15 minutes I was playing badminton. For the first bit I was playing we Shantelle against Kelly-Joe and Alexis. We won, lol we're awesome. Then Shantelle was playing with Amber, and I was partners with Dustin. We were the undefeated champions. I must be improving b/c a couple times I hit the birdie, Dustin was like, "Where did that come from" and he was surprised on some of my great hits.
When lunch break was over, I went and found Michelle and we played against each other, full court. So we were runing quite a bit all over the place lol. I'm getting better on my serves too. I'm not popping them up like I use to, and I'm getting better at placing it (cuz I had Michelle running back and forth some time). O, and I successfully did drop shots 2!!! And b4 I cudnt rly do those :)

In gym class, I did a total of 15 minutes running. I ran for 5 minutes straight, then I did some sit-ups and stretching, then we ran for another 5 minutes (but I think I may have ran for about 3 minutes the 2econd time), followwed by some more sit-ups and more stretching, and then for the last 15 minutes, i ran for about half the time, and i walked for the rest. DUring the 2nd time runing, my calves starting aching a bit, my feet were a bit sore afterwards, and I started getting cramp bymy right ribs. But at least this time I didn't get a cramp in my left collor bone area like usual.
After this warm up, we played cricket. It's been a long time since we played this game, and I was a little light headed from runing (kind of dazed), so i had a heard time catching the ball and i low reaction time.

LOG workout (Exercising) 15:00 [1]

Ok i was working out with Michelle again today, but we spent most of the time talking lol. I did 3 sets of 20 lunges, 3 sets of 20 crunches, and 3 sets of 20 arm push ups (because I can't really do real push-ups lol). Then there was a class in the gym, so we worked out in the weightroom, where I was less progressive then usual. I did one arm exercise (3 sets of 20 with 20lbs weight), 2 leg exercises (3 sets of 20, but they were done with a diff amount of weight, and then I only did 2 or 3 sets of 10 upper body raises

Today we chose our own warm-ups, and I chose skipping. Then we practised scooping up the birdies with our racket, hiting it up, and catching it (also with our racket), and repeat. I can now cradle the birdie! I couldn't do it b4. Now I just have to practise scooping it up. The we got into partners and practised hiting and smashing the birdie. Our teacher then put us into partners and we played a bunch of mini- badminton games (up to 3 points). I was partnered with Andrew, and we didn't always win, but it was loads of fun.

LOG workout (muscular endurance) 1:00:00 [2]

Ok, for about 15 minutes I was lifting weights in the weightroom during lunch recess, and I was just working on my arms and legs, b/c I want to tone and build those muscles. I did 6 arm workouts, each was 3 sets of 10, with a 20 lbs weight. I did 4 leg workouts, each were 3 sets of 10.
Then, with Michelle and Amber during our spare, we did 3 sets of 20 lunges; a lot of crunches and sit-ups (I did 128 crunches, plus 4 sets of 10 sit-ups, 3 sets of 20 crunches, and then 20 more sit-ups); 3 sets of 20 wall-push ups; and then 3 sets of 5 standing with your legs wide apart, toes pointing out, legs 90 degrees, holding that position while lifting a 10 lbs weight.
....and thats about it lol

LOG workout (weightlifting) 30:00 [2]

During lunch recess I was lifting weights. I did 3 sets of 10 sit-ups styled thing. It's were from ankle to thigh your laying flat (stomache-down), and the rest of you is just hanging, and then you have to lift youreslf up (you can feel it in your abs). Then I worked on my arms. I did 6 arm workouts, each were 3 sets of 10 with 20 lbs weights. Then I did 2 leg workouts, each were 3 sets of 10. I was working on my calf and thigh muscles.

Cross-Country Skiing (full-body workout) 50:00 [3]

Yay! I'm imrpoving!!! This time I only fell once, and everytime I went down the hill, i didn't fall!!!! Today was perfect weather for skiing. It was a little bright and the wind was a little cold on the face, but after a while you get use to it and you warm right up. We did 2 laps around the whole school ground (including the parking lot). This time it was me, Michelle and Shantelle who went skiing, it was loads of fun! I kept laughing for like 5 minutes at Michelle cuz at one point she was trying to crawl up the hill and she was up 2 her knees in snow! It was so hilariouse, it started to hurt my abdomin from laughing so much.
This time it was a little harder to ski, b/c there was fresh snow (cuz it snowed earlier), so it was soft and deep in certain places, and you have to work harder to get through it, so I was tired a lot sooner. But it's all good. :)

Ok, today in gym class, we did skipping as a warm-up, followed by "saving plantets". Saving planets is just wher you get split up into 2 teams, and you hav to run to the opposite side to steal pilons. If you get caught, you go to jail. This was a low intensity b/c evryone was just working on defence instead of offence, including me (we just were to worried about getting caught). So my team kept losing, but I had fun anyway. Me and Danya decided to be the decoys lol.
After this we played badminton doubles. I was partnerd with DYlan, and we played against Dustin and Michelle. SO it was a pretty even matched game (cuz Michelle and I are basically equals -ish, and so r Dustin and Dylan). The score was 19-21 (so I lost, but it still was pretty close).

Ok, Michelle and I started off by doing a few simple stretches, followed by running. In total, I ran for 10 minutes. First , we ran for 3 minutes straight, and then we kept walking for about 2 minutes, and then we ran for 5 minutes straight, and then walked for around 2 minutes, and then I ran for 2 minutes straight, followed by walking just to help warm down and slow the breathing and heart rate.. Yeah, im pretty much out of shape, cuz i was definitly feeling that, but I was able to push through it (well it wasnt that bad). I want to do this about 3 times a week, becasue I really want to improve my cardiovascular endurance.
After the runing, I did 3 sets of 40 crunches, and then I wanted to try the actual endurance part (where you do it non stop) and i wanted to beat my 170 that I did before, and this time i did 250!!!!! I was feeling that!! I like to feel that burn, feels good lol

Cross-Country Skiing 50:00 [2]

Today, during my spare, Michelle and i went cross country skiing around the school. It was one year since I went down-hill skiing, and like 2 years since I went cross-country, so I was rusty. I kept falling (but also we had to make some of our own paths/tracks), but i did notice an improvement. I started to ski faster and more well-balanced. When going down the hill, i fell right away, but then the second time I fell right at the bottom and my form was better. So if I keep doing this about twice a week, I should improve a lot and be way better at it :)

Today in gym class, we started the class off by choosing our own warm up. I chose to run 5 laps (I only ran 5 because I was really sore in my calf muscles). i also did volley-ball rallying, and then I was doing sit-ups.
Then we did badminton activities like hiting the birdie to yourself 3 times, and then trying to catch it with your racket. After that we were practising over-hand and under-hand clears. Then we played 5 lives, and out of my group, I WON!!!! YAY!!!
For the remainder og the class, we got into groups of 5 and hit the birdie to one-another, and then we got into partners and played badminton.

During my spare, Michelle, Amber, and I was doing exercises. We were doing 3 sets of 20 lunges; 3 sets of 20 wall push-ups; I did 5 sets of 20 crunches, followed by 170 crunches (because I wanted to see how much I could do without stoping); then I did some weightlifting with a 5 lbs weight.
For a little bit, like 5 minutes, michelle and I were playing tennis because the badminton net was already up.
And I think that thats just about it.

LOG/ Volley-ball (ralleying) 1:15:00 [2]

Before we left for our volley-ball game (that we were going to watch at the U of W), we played volley-ball for 1 hr:15 min. FOr the start of it, we were just warming up by ralleyind the ball back and forth in our own groups, and then we split up into 3 teams and played volley-ball games up to 9 points. It was alot of fun, but most of us were a bit rusty (including me), so it wasn't that much of a workout. But it was still a lot of fun.

LOG workout 1:00:00 [2]

Michelle and I were in the weightroom working out. I was working doing core workounts (doing 3 sets of 10), and working on my arms. So i was lifting weights, and pulling weights, which worked different parts of my arms. I did 3 differnt types where you pull the weight down in front of yoou (for each one I did 3 sets of 10), and one where you pull the weight down just behind your head, for this one I did 3 sets of 15.
After half an hour of this, amber, michelle and i were playing tennis, which was fun, but we werent getting much of a workout. Then amber left, and Michelle started shooting baskets while I practised hitting the ball against the wall. Then aftewr 10 minutes, I started shooting baskets with Michelle and practising lay-ups.

LOG/ badminton (PE class) 1:00:00 [2]

For this class, we all went into groups of 2. One partner had to run for 3 min., while the other person did crunches or stretches or pushups. After the 3minutes, the partners switch and the other one runs for 3 minutes . So we did about 9 minutes running and 9 minutes doing stretches, crunches, or push-ups.
After the running, we did badminton drills and activities.
