L.O.G. / basketball (Lay-ups n mork-outs) 1:00:00 [3]

In todays class, we did manmakers, practiced doing lay-ups, and we played "bump". We also did some ab workouts, leg exercises, jumping exercises (which I need to practise b/c I'm on the volley-ball team), push-ups (which are impossible for me), and then Mr. Lee went through the variuos exercies machines, which we also went on.

During this pratice, we worked on bumping (which we derastically need to improve on) and setting (which also needs a lot of work). As always, we also scrimaged. There was definatly an improvement, but we still need to work on three hits. But people are now moving for the ball, and "saving" the ball, and are doing good hits. But we still need to gain control of the ball. I need to improve on my overhand serves, which are going out-of-bounds ). But there is definatly an improvement, with both myself, and as a team as a whole! YAY!

Volley-ball (Practice) 1:15:00 [3]

During this practice, we worked on spiking, scrimaging, and we also worked on receiving spikes. Other things we worked on were receiving a spike and setting (because we had to figure out which two people were going to be our setters; which are Shantelle and Kyla).

LOG/ Volley-ball (PE class) 50:00 [3]

For about the first 10 minutes, Mr. Lee was talking about logging our training, and we also had to wait for a student (because she was late and he wanted all of us to start the class together). We then played two low-organized games, followed by scrimaging in volley-ball. I was still a bit tired (because I guess I didn't get a proper sleep), so for the first little bit I wasn't processing things well (I was still half asleep). But then I finally "woke" up and was alert.

For the beginning of volley-ball practise, we practiced spiking ( I only did two complete successful spikes [they were awesome]), followed by "off the net". For the remainder of class we scrimaged.

LOG workout (cardiac workout) 45:00 [3] 2.0 mi (22:30 / mi)

I skipped continueusly for 15 minutes and I did some stretches, followed by doing a 2 mile jog. It was lightly raining out and it was also chilly. Also, running in one direction, there was a cool wind (so I was jogging/running against the wind). I was a little rusty, so it was a slow couple miles.

Volley-ball (Practice) 30:00 [2]

In Volley-ball practice we just scrimaged. I had a lot of fun. My over hand serves are improving, I am now serving with more power (being applied to the ball).

Volley-ball (Practice) 40:00 [2]

Today we had volley-ball practice at lunch recess, and I started practising 10 minuted earlier. During todays practice we did some spiking warm-ups and L.O.G warm ups; followed by scrimaging. I wasn't to active for this part b/c some people weren't taking it seriosly and were being lazy. So its not like I can go for the ball everytime (b/c it would go to other people or go out, or the server wouldn't even be able to serve the ball over the net).

Volley-ball (Practice) 1:15:00 [3]

In volley-ball we did a bunch of warm-ups such as doing laps, spiking, off-the-net, serving,etc. For the remainder of class we scrimaged. During the srcimaging, the senior time played horrible, and lost to the junior varsity team. Hopefully we'll do better, and it seemed like not many people were trying their best, and we were ount of sync.

Football (PE class) 1:00:00 [3]

We did warm ups in the gym, where we passed the foot ball around, and then ran to the other end of the gym, and passed it back. We then went outside and did more warm ups. It was fun and poor Amber got hit by the ball twice. I liked trying to catch the kickoffs because it was hilarious. One time, the ball was coming to me, I went for it, but at the last second I chickened out and ran away. In the end I almost caught it, but the football bounced out of my arms.
I enjoyed the remainder of the time actually playing football. it was a good work-out

For the whole class, we played volley-ball. It was really fun and I tried my best. It was even more enjoyable playing with the music on. I felt really good and energized after class.

In PE class, we were doing low organized activities/games, where we practiced doing layups and did relays (such as dribbling up and down the gym).

Volley-ball (PE class) 30:00 [3]

In PE class, we played volley-ball for the second half of class. It was fun because it's been awhile since I've played voolley-ball and I enjoy it very much. It felt really good to be active, because I haven't been in a while. I didn't try my hardest because I wasn't in proper clothing for gym. I was wearing jeans so it was a bit uncomfortable and awkward.
