That's what you get when you think you can run an elite course when you're not in any shape to run a 7 km race. The first control was extra easy and it gave me a false sense of security. Found the 2nd control perfectly with pure luck. Made a bad route choice to the 3rd one and was caught. 4-8 was a nice area and I was orienteering well! But then after 5 km, I was already too tired and had some problems on the way to number 9. But I was still 7th in the race at that point. And then, well, my head didn't really function anymore. I lost about 8 minutes during the next kilometer. I did find the last control without any problems though... | ||

| After watching men's Wimbledon semifinals all day I went for an evening spin. Kept up a brisk pace because it felt good. Was listening to Radio Rock, pretty heavy stuff mostly, and it gave me the perfect aggression for this session.

| "Sauvarinne". Every other time the steep short one and then the longest or second longest slope in between. Two last ints in the steep short one. Running downhills. It felt just as easy as it was supposed to, but it was still hard enough.
There was quite a lot of trafic at the hill. Also Tapsa and Jaska were there. They were running the longest slope. I wonder when me and Tiina will be able to do the battle... | ||

| Midsection + upper body. It was one of those trainings that you have to make yourself do but in the end you could still continue for a while. I didn't have time to continue, I had to go to work.
BTW my quads hurt when I walk. :) | ||
