| Jog with Matt and mum round Memorial Park so i don't feel dead legged tomorrow after not training yesterday.
(perhaps i should add 80mins of rugby here-my heart rate was higher than when i was running!) |

| I don't usually include my cycling here, there and everywhere to my training, but today was special, so decided it warranted being mentioned!
I went to hang controls fo Arthur's Seat training (which happened to be the other side of the area by the loch), leaving myself just the right amount of time to hang them, get back and get ready for president's dinner...i got to the start and realised i hadn't brought the map :( so had to speedily cycle back to the flat, back to arthurs seat, hang controls and cycle back to the flat again! The lights weren't being very nice, and on one trip i got beaten by this little boy (who i swear ws trying to race me) on an even littler bike just because i was being too polite with the traffic lights. I aslo had to pass the freshly squashed hedgehog with its guts spilling out everywhere 4 times:( and the wind seemed to pick up and was always blowing in my face.
In the end i managed to shower, wash my hair, dry my hair, straighten my hair, get changed and everything else in only 40mins! Amazing:)

| Hanging controls for arthurs seat training. Mix of working hard, and not so. Running hard inbetween sites, especially on the hills, but stopped to get a control out of my bag each time. |

| Circuits. Jumping about the ladders, controlled raise+lower on bench, medicine ball sit ups, bb roll outs, pull ups, and of course good old supermans. |

| Straight aftr circuits, loop of the seat (up the bog, round the road). This was initially going to be a tempo run, but my legs were tired and sore! So Kirsten and I just did the loop steadily. |

| euoc/euhh intervals. Running in girls b group-very similar to hollie (it's great having someone to do them with!), fiona ahead. Finished the session for the 1st time since i started them a couple of weeks ago:)
5x800m 90sec rest. 2.46, 2.48, 2.48, 2.48, 2.43. Sore from yesterday but feeling surpisingly ok. |

| Weights. First session since May ish.
Session 1:
Hang jump shrug 30kg 3x10
Single leg squat 30kg 3x5+5
Push Press 12.5kg 4x5 (my arms are so weak!!)
Straight leg dead lift 30kg 3x10 (struggling to grip the bar)
BB roll outs 3x10
Side planks 3x30sec each side
Sit up with medicine ball throwing inbetween us. 3kg. |

| Aquajogging with Kris Gauson. 10x120/60. Without belts-much harder! Legs were burning up at the end and heart rate was sky high. Good session though.
I think I'm going to do this a bit more often (my shin was a bit sore this morning when i got up, probably from the 2 days in a row running a reasonable distance). |

| Tempo run on Blackford with Hollie and Kirsten. Feeling pretty good. One big lap of Blackford then back up steps onto top and loop back through the woods. Good pace to finish at the end. |
