Orienteering race 30:00 [4] 4 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: Walsh
H1 select middle race. Barr Wood. Orienteering pretty cleanly, but a fairly easy course-most of the controls were quite visible. Went over on my ankle. It's sore but not too swollen and i can weight bear on it fine, so hopefully will run again soon!

Running 56:00 [3]
shoes: Walsh
Run up into the hills with Dan behind his girlfriend's house. Quite steep up then some nice undulating bits, then back down. Stopped a couple of times for views and waterfalls, but feeling good:) It was an impromptu run after watching matt at world schools, but just what I needed!

Sunday Apr 20

Event: British Relays

Orienteering race 43:00 [4]
shoes: Walsh
BOC relay. Becky on first leg, me on 2nd, hollie 3rd. I had a pretty good run-a small mistake near the end and perhaps some slower route choices just to be safe! I didn't really warm up because i was getting quite stressed in the changeover pen (after having to queue up for my map). So the run along the track to number one felt quite slow but i got into it a bit more in the forest. Julia caught me on the way to number 6, and i caught jenny (clok) and ciara about number 5. Julia is a machine-she ran all the way up the steep hill to the control, but then i didn't see her again and beat her in so she must have messed up. I then caught heather and along with ciara, we were together ish although on different gaffles. So Hollie was out in 2nd on last leg, but with speedy runners chasing her down. We finshed 3rd-woo we are legendesses!
C • Sure thing! 3
