Orienteering race 31:00 [3] 5.0 km (6:12 / km)

SHI relay.
My first 2 runners were awesome, so i went out just 20 seconds or so behind Tessa. Went out fairly hard and caught her, we were together for a while, then she had an extra control and i got away. I then proceeded to mess up 2 controls in a row, lost the plot. Maybe about 1min30. Could see Tessa back ahead of me, but couldn't reel her in over the last km or so. To add insult to injury i then hurt my ankle badly on the last loop.
Time to get healthy again and injury free. Not quite how winter was meant to start! Good fun weekend though and I've got a good base fitness to work from. Exciting.

Jogged about a bit. Ankle too bad for warm down. Drove to the shower block and back.

SHI individual.
Health always comes first, unless it's the SHIs and then Scotland comes first :)
Decided to run but not push to the max. Actually worked well as i only made 1 mistake. Start time quite helpful when Tess missed early on as i could see her for a while. Good fun. Hope i don't feel too much worse for it later.

Felt surprisingly ok jogging up to the start. Legs are happy at least.

No warm down, not pushing my luck any further.

Hmm. Not sure what to do. Maybe just run the relay. We'll see.

Still snotty and coughing last night. Getting a bit concerned about the weekend.

Climbing 20:00 [3]

Snotty and sore chest, hoping it won't go on too much longer. Spent some time climbing today to help a friend who's got an assessment next week. Good fun. Would love to do more, but will probably stick to indoor (much less faff and midges!!).
