B final. Ran like a numpty. Legs getting much better, so actually got a couple of fastest splits on the long legs :) however I made up for this by some other very stupid things - lack of clear focus I think. Loved it though, and excited to get fitter to be able to race hard in this terrain!

Just over a minute off qualifying for the final tomorrow. Disappointed because it was in reach. Legs actually felt better than they have for a while which was nice. A few silly small mistakes, then lost a minute on a route choice near the end and then another minute to 13 of 15 (I was in a qualifying position at 12) when I thought I'd executed the leg well. Got caught in scrappy stuff but kept thinking to myself that it's the same for everyone. Should've kept a bit higher perhaps. Ah well, not a bad thing to not have to run 12.5km tomorrow! Nice terrain though. Glad I made the decision to come:)
