Orienteering 1:44:16 [5] 10.5 km (9:56 / km)

Day 2 of US Champs, somebody just got to be kidding me. Now I know that number 11 isn't my lucky number, another 17 min split, I got to burn my all O-stuff and never do it again. Had another great start, catching Boris at 3rd then made a stupid mistake on 4th but managed to come back as the course went on to the top of "repeat after me, ugly mountain" and boom, number 11 on not so accurately mapped part of the map. Luckely, Mihai, whom I passed on the way to 6 jumped out of nowhere " he took the trail around" some 15 min latter, so I followed him to the control. Imideately after, Brian showed up from behind and we run together till 15 where I just lost sight of him.
Felt fully disapointed and unhappy with my runs, but on the bright side, this was really the funniest and simply great time spent with all this creazy folks called O-rs.

Orienteering 2:14:30 [4] 11.55 km (11:39 / km)

Ugly, ugly race. Started off royally, catching William on the way to 3rd contol, finished off miserably, with William finishing a side. Began feeling the altitude on the first climb to the 5th control, merely passing out at the top on the way to 6, and completely falling apart in the second half of the course. Number 11 was the fininshing point of my run for today, I still don't how can you put a bag on that spot without any clear features around. 26 min for a split, give me a break, I am retiring.

Very relaxed run, haven't had such a run in monthes. Felt quite rested after the training, which doesn't really happen to me so often.
