Orienteering 36:55 [4] 4.8 km (7:41 / km)

A local HVO meet in Tennafly, lots of snow above ankle deep, some challenging orienteering for the first time in 3 month and to a big surprice the first place !!! I couldn't feel my feets in the begining as they got so frozen and I could tell how my ankle was doning. Only toward the end when the snow melted in my shoes I felt the sorness and discomfort. But overall it held up ok as I feared it could've been worse...and so I BACK though a bit slow :))

Skiing 15:00 [5] 2.5 km (6:00 / km)

Today is a day when two O-ers, refusing to bow down to mother's nature caprices of bereaving this land of snow and preventing them from greatest pleasures received from training and found only in skiing, have succesfully overcame such challenges by staging their match on a golf course field in Forest Park in New York City. During this unprecedented event ten toughest hills were conquered with a speed of a golf ball and all 18 holes were hit with eagles. Upon mutual agreement the official name of this event is "Exotic skiing in NYC."

Skiing 1:05:00 [3] 12.5 mi (5:12 / mi)

Easy skiing before, between and after the hill intervals. Since our (Greg and me) planned ski session in upstate NY was ruined by the lack of snow in ski center, Greg came up with idea to explore the golf course right next to his house, and to our surprise, there it was, untouched by humans and forgoten by weather SNOW! in sufficient amounts to even have a decent Ski-O meet (another Greg's idea) and so we skied to the amuzement of local dudes and all the passers by on the highway.......

Running 40:00 [3] 5.25 mi (7:37 / mi)

A usual now run on treadmill, felt a bit easy so run for a bit longer. Ankle is still quite unstable as a result my left leg ends up working as twice as my right one getting very tired toward the end. Some reading while running helps to keep the boredoom of such runs away :)

Running 32:00 [3] 3.8 mi (8:25 / mi)

Evening treadmill run, not as fun as skiing, but better than nothing anyway considering that everything is covered with ice making it impossible to have any training outside :( Surprisingly legs felt just fine despite yesterday's soreness, probably getting back in shape :))
