The Goat. Greg convinced me to run it so we agreed to work together all the way. I felt pretty good and we had a good start by beating the pack to the fist control as we countured around and puched it with Will,John, Ken, and Ross. We split up after second bag and took off on the trail. Then lost 5 min at the 4th (my mistake) and a huge pack passed us by. We skiped the 5th and cought up to John on the 8th. I didn't really see when Ross and Ken joined us there as well but we stayed together till 14 where I decided to skip the second loop as my knees felt very sore at that point and ended the race. On the positive note, I felt much better on the climb than I did last weekend, on the negative note, knees are pretty much shot right now, will see how I will feel during the week.

Friday Apr 11

Easy jogging on the treadmill. Knees are getting better, so I am happy about it...

Thursday Apr 10

Running 23:00 [3] 4.5 km (5:07 / km)
Quick run to the MB and back. It was finally warm enough out that I wore a T-shirt. Legs felt really fresh, though L-knee was still sore enough for me to try any kind of steady running .
Cross-training 15:00 [3]
Some stretching + ankle strenght stuff.

Tuesday Apr 8

Cross-training 10:00 [3]
Light jogging/walking on the treadmill. Knees still very sore, though not as sore in the morning right after I get up, which is a very good sign.
Cross-training 30:00 [3]
Very light session with free weights + stretching.
