Orienteering race 1:45:30 [5] 11.0 km (9:35 / km) +700m 7:17 / km

TT - Long. I knew I needed to be faster than yesterday and my legs actually felt faster, so I started pushing pretty much from the start. Had a small issue with the map at the #1 but nothing major and was really cruising up to #5 that I missed high and spend some time trying to relocate , a total loss of 4 min. I got really pissed at myself and started pushing again. But, began feeling weak on the way to #11 and was really fading after #12 where I lost some time searching the cliffs. Then barely made to #15 and was really happy that the finish was just over the hill. Felt really hungry at the finish but still feeling good that I was able to finish. Two things I liked about this race: At least for the first half of the course I felt like I was really running well and actually felt good on the uphills. And second thing, that I mostly executed good route choices today with exception on #5.

Orienteering race 45:30 [5] 5.0 km (9:06 / km) +180m 7:43 / km

TT Middle - Started out slow, felt hard a few times on the way down to the first control so was really cautious for the first few bags. Was surprised to see Ross at #4, who started 3 min ahead of me and immediately began to pull away from me on the way to #5, I totally lost sight of him after #7. I began pushing harder after #9 and lost a bit of time on #13 (which seemed to be lower than it is mapped). Then stopped short on the ridge on the way to #14 and went toward #17 before realizing that I was still short, so lost another 1.5 min there. At #17 Ross came out of nowhere again, and he started pushing on the way up to #18. I didn't have any legs under me and he pulled away once again. Wasn't in particularly disappointed nor happy with the race. Definitely could've been a bit more cleaner but not being able to run with Ross was a real bummer.
