Beecraigs orienteering - happy with that other than #17. Felt ok running but taking it steady, calves were fine and it was generally a lot nicer than I remember Beecraigs being. Felt a bit out of control on the first few short legs then settled into things a bit more. Taking straight forest routes to avoid too much track running. Some how managed 2nd fastest split on the long running leg into Hillhouse Wood (perhaps I just found #15 better at the end). Plan had been to up-down to #17 but decided on down-up at the last second as the climb was steep (and I was lazy) and the light green looked ok. Then got into the overgrown re-entrant and the control was much higher than it should have been (scarcely in the circle). Cruised through the final couple of running legs to the finish.

Easy loop to test health and calves - felt ok and was generally better today after more mowing in the morning.
