Early ride on a gorgeous day, although a cool start. Had a vague plan to do the tour of Loch Katrine, but didn't commit until I got to Aberfoyle and all the body parts seemed to be happy. I set a deliberately easy "all day tour" pace, spinning up all the hills, to preserve knees and body. The latter was sore from the hour on, but only gradually got worse; I stopped a couple of times to walk about, and that helped. I started off fuelling OK but then got the return trip in my sights and slipped, which meant that I started to run out of steam by Doune; quick stop there to finish off my food made the last 5km much easier! Pleased to have got around with no ill effects. My back might even last a Sportive. TRIMP 357.3
