Didn't have time to get out (the story of the week) but I went out anyway for a shortened spin into the wind and rain. Saw Will on the way out, jogging along, resting up for tomorrow...! TRIMP 87

CATI at Linlithgow, Green course (3.5km?). Had entered the ESOC Ultrasprint but there was too much resistance from the troops and I was a home-alone dad, so I took the easy option. The kids enjoyed playing with their pals and Janine very kindly let me get out for a run.
Really struggled around this! Still with no energy after Friday, and sporting a headache, I started slow and didn't get any faster. Can't say that I made any mistakes, but I was crawling - four minutes down on Paul H (although he is fast!) and 70s on Jase. I took the N route around the loch on the long leg despite thinking that it would be longer than the S route, because my back was already protesting about the tarmac and I fancied a bit of scenery. It was a lovely, scenic leg. Unlike my legs, which were moving in slow motion ;-). TRIMP 75.1.

Note
(rest day)

Recovering. Massive headache from dehydration and lack of sleep, but can hold food down - on the mend.
