Shadowing Eilidh around the Yellow course at the FVO club champs. The woods looked beautiful, so I decided that my well-strapped calf might be up to my collecting my Blue course map later and jogging a few controls back over the hill.

Club Champs Green course at Abbey Craig (incl. jog to start). I was persuaded at the start to have a go at completing the Green rather than definitely DNF the Blue, so I tentatively jogged my way around. Thankfully the terrain was very forgiving, although I did feel the calf give slightly - minor re-tear - en-route to #14, with <5 mins to go. Oh well. Walked from there. Was pretty clean at such a leisurely pace, although I did miss the oddly-placed #5 by 45s or so. Second behind an equally crocked Janine! TRIMP 69.3.

Mega night orienteering at Sauchie. Long course - 4km. Slow to #1 but so was Dave, so I was lucky enough to be with him for the first few. Got dropped (windblow), staggered on for a bit, surprised to catch him back up three controls later, missed another and he & Lewis got away, was with Fraser for a couple until he missed, then was solid crossing into the final loop when I was a bit fluffy and would have missed #18 had I not had Jamie - who had already missed it - for company. Steady to the finish. Decent effort, great course. TRIMP 110.5.

Went to collect in some controls with Fraser, despite my calf being a bit sore. Collected them. Went to put one back out because there were people still out. Stood around for a bit at the control, waiting, until Lewis came and relieved us. Calf massively tightened up when jogging back to the finish. Arse. TRIMP 25.1.
