Note

Family cycle from Edinburgh to Linlithgow along the canal, taking the train at either end. Slow, but we did actually complete the 22 miles, despite Eilidh falling off (whilst going in a straight line) and scuffing up her knee pretty badly at almost the exact middle point.
Having a lot of gip from my right knee and calf. It has been flakey since Drummond Hill; I thought that an easy few days (due to travelling) would sort it, but, no such luck.

The long way round - via the Gathering Stane - to pick up Eilidh from school. Terrible, sluggish, knee sore, back sore. And I was late. Argh.

Found a nice bit of greenspace in Kenilworth and jogged very slowly around it for one lap. Had hoped that this would loosen my back up enough to actually run but, nope, so I repeated the exercise. Just as bad after the second lap so I called it quits before I damaged myself further.
