Enforced day off - my back had been killing me on Saturday evening and that, coupled with a related terrible night's sleep, meant that the planned orienteering at Loch Ordie was never going to happen - shame, as I fancied it. Walked to Ashfield in the sunshine with Eilidh instead on the "long way round" to pick up the car from near the Viccy Halls.

FVO Club Champs, Blue course. Tulliallan. Includes jog to the start.
Plodding around after 3+ hrs full on helping. Some very nice bits, but I got stuck in brambles three or four times and was very wimpy about them - also missed 2 mins at #6 (should have aimed off) and another 90s at #9, despite knowing that others had also really struggled with it.

Short and - relatively - sharp lunchtime jaunt to the Gathering Stane. Knee tried to cave in for the first 100m or so but just set into a steady grumble after that. New multi-use path up to Dykedale has now been finished.

Very early start to get home meant that I didn't sleep a wink so, by the time my (1hr delayed) flight got in and I drove home, I was knackered. Went to bed for a swift 40 winks at 2pm and woke up at 3:40. When I was supposed to have been helping at the Running Club from 3:00... argh! Jogged down to Holmehill to find them and at least was able to jog back up the hill with them. And that was enough for me today.

Meander in Munich. Those Bavarians. Having a cheeky laugh with the 'Englischer Gardens'... flat & dull, just lots of grass with some trees. I couldn't comment ;-). Some Scottish Gardens might have been far more entertaining! At least it was a nice escape from the traffic and endless pedestrian crossings. I couldn't face them, or the tarmac, on the way back, so just walked back from Odeonsplatz.

Travelling to Munich. Arrived late and shenanigans with the the hotel check in meant that I'd have been running in the dark at rush hour, so I just went for a walk instead.
