Considering that as recently as yesterday morning I was still struggling to walk without a stick, some might consider this foolhardy, and they'd probably be right. Time will tell. Meanwhile, ice packs.

Given how bad my knee was when I woke up, managing to do even this is a bonus. Dug out the massive knee brace mid-morning as I was struggling to get around, and it proved to be a big help.

Hm, not a bad time for this route (a PB, actually, I think) - clearly not as desperately unfit as I'd thought. Good wind-assisted ride out to Braco, then steady up the hill to protect the shonky knees. Into the wind coming down from the Inn, but the sub-hour was in the bag already.
Still amazed at how sweetly these fat gravel tyres roll.
