Idyllic spin on the bike whilst the rest of the team headed off to the orienteering event. I stopped off to laze in the sunshine by the finish lane and cheer folks in, then jumped back in the saddle for the 15km back to our accom.

Nice as it would have been to get out in the sun, even if only to walk around a yellow course at Fallin, my knee really doesn't like walking today. I stuck on a brace and tried a gentle turbo session and had no pain, so, that'll have to do for now.

Knee a bit sore and slightly swollen after clumping around the mean streets of Glasgow for longer than expected, and then I managed to twist it a little when pivoting off the motorbike; b@!!ards. Just a minor set back. Out with the ice, elevation etc. Massively dehydrated anyway.

What a day, too gorgeous to not escape from the desk on my lunch break. Easy spin on our groovy local gravel trails and then on to Waltersmuir and back via Old Glen Road. Wonderful - happy hormones topped up to 150%. Envious of anyone who has the whole day off in this weather!
