Orienteering race 2:18:00 [4]
30c shoes: Olway Tiger, sz 10

SOL1 and WRE, the Trossachs. M21E, 10.6 km and 700+m climb. Superb orienteering, and physically as tough as expected. No hiding mediocre fitness on this one! Scott Fraser was 87 mins (now that's impressive!) and the rest of the field was well strewn out behind. Technically not too bad at all except for one big (6 min) error on a tricky one that it seems everyone else screwed up as well. Physically it completely destroyed me. There's a bit of work to be done there!

Orienteering race 33:52 [4]
19c shoes: Olway Tiger, sz 10

UK cup middle distance at Touch - vets class (4.3 km). It's really a nice little area. Fun orienteering through all the bumps. Feeling tired after a long week, but the race went smoothly until a silly couple of minutes of confusion at 15, having run to within metres of the control first time off. Ah well.

Run (off-road) 25:00 [2]
shoes: Inov8 mudclaw o 330, sz 10

An easy run around Dunstaffnage peninsular and along the nearest coastal hills to stretch the legs a bit after too much work the last few days. Picked up the first tick of the year - I guess the cold weather didn't knock them back too much!
