Orienteering race 25:40 [4] ***
14c shoes: VJ Bold, sz 10.5

JK Relay, Graythwaite, running 2nd leg on a vets team, but it was doubled up with W Elite, so running with some fast women who were already a leg ahead. Lovely woods. Really fun. 3.3 km.

Orienteering 36:00 [3] ***
18c shoes: VJ Bold, sz 10.5

Since we didn't have a last leg runner, went out again for a 'warm down'. A longer leg (4 km), with some different bits, and took different routes on the bits that were the same.

Orienteering race 1:19:33 [4] ***
27c shoes: VJ Bold, sz 10.5

JK Day 3, Bigland. M45, 7.9 km. Lovely terrain, and really enjoyed it. Running cautiously again, especially on the two long, rocky traverses, but just happy to be out there and running again. Certainly a bit of fitness to get back!

Orienteering race 1:11:27 [4] ***
27c shoes: VJ Bold, sz 10.5

JK day 2, Ulpha and Barrow Fell. Thrilled to be able to get around this fine. Actually ran most of it, though had to be a bit careful in the steep, rocky terrain. A bit frustrating that the punch at the road crossing didn't register, so it's an mp, but wasn't super-competitive anyway. Was certainly noticing 2 months of no running towards the end and am going to be mighty sore tomorrow.

20c shoes: Hoka Challenger ATR1, Sz 10.5

JK Sprint. Lancaster Uni. M45, 3.5 km. Ran quite gingerly, but actually managed to get around in a half respectable time. Would not have believed that a couple of weeks ago. Chuffed to bits!

Run (off-road) 10:00 [2]
