Orienteering 1:18:04 [3]**** 16.89 km (4:37 / km)
ahr:159 max:178 spiked:30/36c shoes: Saucony Hurricane
Ran out to the curragh and decided to do a few controls. I think the orienteering was about 10km or so. Fairly intense stuff. Had to relocate on a few and had to really concentrate on a few is well. Harder than normal for the curragh. Will probably try to get out again to do some more control work before Bofin this weekend.

Am struggling to get HR up, probably due to no running for the best park of +4 weeks with AT. Intense training up to a weeks before JWOC training starts in Gothenburg.
Stick Fighten 20:00 [1]
shoes: Saucony Hurricane
Just gave it a lash with brian for a bit to kill some time

Saturday May 24

Running 1:03:30 [1]7.2 km (8:49 / km)
shoes: Saucony Hurricane
Ran around bushy park with aoife- jogging on the trails but i'd vier off and sprint along some tiny forest path before joining back up with the trail. Easy easy running part from that. Warm evening and bouncy trails

Friday May 23

Running 42:35 [2]9.2 km (4:38 / km)
shoes: Saucony Hurricane
Couldn't find garmin so no HR data, had no speed- felt dead on my feet.

Lumville- curragh camp- motorway- home
Orienteering 51:30 [1]*** 3.15 km (16:21 / km)
spiked:6/6c shoes: Saucony Hurricane
My mam was complaining that she got lost on the curragh. So i told her to grab her kit and we headed sunny hill direction. Took a few easy controls and i found her problem. She gets a compass baring and runs. Meh- it'll take more work. I have the patients of a saint!

Wednesday May 21

Cycling 39:50 [2]15.39 km (2:35 / km)
ahr:128 max:165 slept:2.0 shoes: Cannondale RP2000
Took the bike out to spin the legs. Did a few loops around the curragh camp, hitting corners fast for the adrenline rush. Took it real handy.

And of course it began to piss rain.

Note- 2hrs sleep + exams = bad/no training

Tuesday May 20

Orienteering warm up/down 30:00 [1]*** 2.3 km (13:03 / km)
spiked:11/11c shoes: Saucony Hurricane
Jogged around giving Pete a hand (M12). Only ran once or twice before. Showed him how to take a baring and he got the hang of it by the time we rapped things up
Orienteering race 51:29 [4]*** 11.4 km (4:31 / km)
ahr:179 max:184 spiked:27/29c shoes: Saucony Hurricane
Curragh Summer League

Fast paced as always. I planned it a while ago so i'm down as NC which got a great laugh out of everyone, slagging me with my name down the bottom of results. Had one 1:30 slip and one 30 slip but that was kinda cause i couldn get into the control (furzes :) ). Twas good fun- we chickened out of doing the ultra long (17km) due to 11km hurting enough and general humidity!
Orienteering warm up/down 25:00 [2]*** 2.9 km (8:37 / km)
spiked:4/4c shoes: Saucony Hurricane
Control collecting and cool down jog. Legs very sore

Monday May 19

Note
(rest day)
Today was a well deserved rest day. Besides i had an exam, a horribly gory film in the form of Nazi Zombies to watch (Outpost), and to go on a cafe crawl, sampling coffee's, tea's and hot chocolates before a bitching session on which is the best 90's music- o the shame
