For a start i hate Stradbally. Lots of brambles and this just adds to the physicality. I was sloppy but it wasn't helped by the indistinct veg changes and other such lark. Lost 2mins in the fight looking for number 2 and spiked myself in the eye thus adding a bit more time to my leg. All in all I'd say i lost the guts of 8mins.
Roar won it in 93, i was 94 and shea was 95. . . 1 , 2 , 3 RDF/CNOC Woooh!!!
Note
Before i went out i was informed i was preselected for the CISM World Military Orienteering Champs in Lithuania!

Hollywood BBQ Score Event :)

What a disaster!! My route choice wasn't too bad but on three controls i just brain farted completely. The first one was a leg about 40m - i ran over 700m.... was +5mins. The next one was on a boulder... in off the earth bank, veired left, missed it and ran around a bit before taking a baring off of a fence corner. The last one was on the mountain. I was on to spike it but a rut of felled crap blocked my view of the control so i ran around on the wrong side of the mound before i decided to go on to the far side and low and behold, there was the control
