Sunday Jun 8

Orienteering 1:05:00 [3]
(injured) (sick)
Freezing cold walk out at Pyramids. Did red short because nose and cough are still horrible and 7.5km seemed a far for the conditions. Cool control picking bit in the only decent patch of trees on the map, didn't really make any mistakes, apart from discovering a few areas of dodgy mapping and one control that was in the wrong place.

Saturday Jun 7

Aquajogging long 1:15:00 [3]
(injured) (sick)
75 mins is a looooooooooong time to aquajog. I was saved for the last 15 mins by some kids having diving lessons - they were very amusing to watch. Coughing all over the place still.

Friday Jun 6

Note
(injured) (sick) (rest day)
All three boxes ticked again. Trust my rest day to be the one I have the least class on...I've got 8 hour days all next week, which leaves almost zero hours of daylight for training - it almost lucky that most of its in the pool...

Thursday Jun 5

Aquajogging intervals 35:00 [4]
(injured) (sick)
4x1 loop of the aquajogging area without the belt (hard work!) with 1 loop recoveries with the belt. Felt pretty good again today, except for a couple of coughing fits in the middle of the pool. There was actually a guy my age there, and a couple of youngish after work people - I was amazed that it was not just old ladies again...
Aquajogging warm up/down 20:00 [3]
(injured) (sick)
10 warm up, 10 warm down.

Wednesday Jun 4

Aquajogging long 1:03:00 [3]
(injured) (sick)
Long run, during the first 10 minutes an old lady decided to chat to me, so I heard all about her sons' high flying jobs, and what its like to manage all the kindies in Dunedin, but it did make the time go a bit quicker and she was pretty fast, so I had to work to keep up.

Tuesday Jun 3

Bike long 41:05 [3]
ahr:165 max:182 (injured) (sick)
Bike up Northeast Valley, but the hill at the end was too steep for my leg, so I had to turn around and go up the other street, which is not as interesting. Felt good to be doing something, but it was pretty cold (4 degrees on the way up and 6 on the way back).

Monday Jun 2

Orienteering 1:22:00 [3]
(injured) (sick)
Bombing Range - nice walk around in the forest, and a little bit in the sand dunes. Didn't underestimate the distance as badly as on Saturday, except for at 2, where my bearing was a bit off as well. Soooooo frustrating not being able to run.
