Long Run intervals 42:00 [3]
(injured)

Walk with 15x1 min running intervals, with ~1min walking recoveries. Feeling good - little leg pain, iced when I got home, and wore compression tights. Up to two minute intervals tomorrow!

Other Sport (Walking) 20:00 [3]
(injured)

Brisk walk in the evening at almost running level.

Long Run intervals 32:00 [2]
(injured)

15x 30s jogging intervals in amongst the walk, as per plan. Leg hurt a little bit twice during the run, and aches a little bit now, but not too badly. Flew home today, so I ended up doing this in the dark. Have decided that I'm no longer sick, even though the cough is still there occasionally.

Aquajogging intervals 30:00 [4]
(injured) (sick)

1 loop, 6/10 loop, 4/10 loop with 4/10 loop recoveries, then repeat. All without the belt, but my breathing was going a bit crazy and during the recoveries I had to have a couple of little breaks to get it under control. I don't know what was going on there, because I felt physically good but just couldn't breathe in. Not keen for it to happen again.

Aquajogging warm up/down 20:00 [3]
(injured) (sick)

10 up, 10 down. Had 8 hours of lectures today, so had to go just after 5pm and it was really busy - overtaking people constantly (I seem to have got a bit faster). Coughing still, although this seemed mostly unrelated to the breathing thing???

Bike 1:20:00 [3]
ahr:173 max:183 (injured) (sick)

Freezing cold morning - was nice to see the sun rise over the peninsula though (went out to the roadworks past Macandrew Bay and back). If only I'd known one of our lecturers wouldn't turn up - I would have had time to do this ride during daylight hours...which would be much safer (three almost crashes, despite lights - stupid overtaking drivers ignoring bikes). Felt pretty good all day though, apart from the nose and cough which is still hanging around a bit.

Aquajogging intervals 27:00 [3]
(injured) (sick)

2 x 3 laps of the pool with no belt with a three minute recovery with the belt. Felt good again - hard work but so good to get into it after a long day of sitting still in class. Cough doesn't seem as bad, so hopefully its on its way out.

Aquajogging warm up/down 22:00 [3]
(injured) (sick)

10 up, 12 down.

Aquajogging tempo 33:00 [4]
(injured) (sick)

Two laps medium, four hard, two really hard without belt (furthest ever!!). Felt pretty good, not coughing too much, so hopefully the cold is on its way out...

Aquajogging warm up/down 17:00 [3]
(injured) (sick)

10 up, 7 down (somehow my warm down was super quick, even though it was the same length as the warm up).

Note
(injured) (sick)

Saw physio and came up with the plan to have me running properly by JWOC - pretty good, I think (it starts off with walking for an hour starting on Wednesday, moving on to jog/walk intervals on Saturday). I also finally got an actual copy of the bone scan report, which was interesting - apparently both legs showed signs of shin splints as well (which I couldn't feel yet...).
