Orienteering 1:09:00 [3]
(injured)

Why have an event at a perfectly good map, then pretty much plan a street event next to it? This led to a fairly undermotivated run in Inovates (would have brought my running shoes if I'd known), which wasn't the greatest. One small mistake running down what looked like an alley to the bowling club instead of what was the alley to a primary school.

Long Run 1:09:00 [3]
(injured)

Run pretty much following the same route as the one with Lizzie earlier in the week, but probably slightly slower. Really humid morning. Pleased to get through it with no pain again - seems to be pretty consistent now, except for the very occasional ache.

Note
(rest day)

Went to watch the cricket with Mitchell, Hayley, and a few others. Waited through three rain delays before giving up...

Bike 1:10:00 [3]

Up Mt Vic, round Oriental Parade, and home via Kilbirnie. Nice windless afternoon. Still bemused by the cycleways.

Orienteering 25:00 [3]
(injured)

Whitby. Killer second leg planned by Todd to give three viable route choices up to a control on the top of the biggest hill on the map. Really nice little suburb with lots of walkways and underpasses. I was pretty pleased with my run - felt good.

Bike 1:18:00 [3]
(injured)

Bike down through Island Bay and around the bays to Seatoun. Fairly windy so I was a bit slow but felt really good, and there were some quite sheltered bits.

Long Run 1:08:00 [3]
(injured)

First decent longer run for a long time. With Lizzie up Mt Albert from my flat, then around behind the zoo, via Melrose Park and found our way to Mt Vic and went part way up there then back via the streets. Nice run, but I felt horribly unfit and it was probably really slow for Lizzie.
