Orienteering 48:00 [3]

Incredibly slow run at Mill Creek. Actually felt like I was putting quite a bit of effort in, but felt like I was running through golden syrup. Ankles kept rolling too, which wasn't fun.

Long Run 1:02:00 [3]

From Khandallah Park up Mt Kaukau the usual way, but right down towards Lizzie's and back via the tainline and past the tennis courts (on the road, not the short cut).

Long Run 37:00 [3]

Gentle run from Gurkha Crs to the roundabout by Onslow and back, with a few detours to check out other roads because in was all on the roads because it was dark.

Long Run 51:00 [3]

Another amusing run with Hayley - this time in the dusk/dark in Titahi Bay (round the headland and trying to find the track back over the top in the mud, which luckily we did find in the end). Not so fun was the $40 parking ticket I got for parking outside her house - parking on the grass is not illegal in Wanganui, and I had no idea that it would be in Porirua! Not quite as amusing as finding out about Todd's ticket for parking in a residential spot outside the British Embassy during our potluck dinner at Magnus and Lisa's place either...

Note
(rest day)

Full of lectures and a crazy consultant trying to fail our whole group for not turning up to something we didn't know we were supposed to be at...

Long Run 1:02:00 [3]

Abbreviated version of the normal Mt Kaukau run, as I was in a hurry. Felt a bit tired, but not too bad.

Long Run 48:00 [3]

Night run with Sarah, Lizzie, and Magnus, up to the gun emplacements, then back via the edge of the Karori Sanctury - got really confused about the geography when we popped out there. Would be a cool place to go in the day-time. Breathing was a bit of a problem and couldn't seem to get my legs going at as fast a pace as I wanted, plus rolled my right ankle again, but again it didn't really hurt.
