Vic Long Champs, 9.2km, Choke'em Gully. Made one real mistake and one bad route choice (lost 4mins to Rita!), but mainly just wasn't fast enough for such an open, fast map. Cold and rainy again.
Aus Middle Champs, 4.7km, Chewton Diggings. Made a few mistakes in the complex stuff when I couldn't tell up from down, then got tired at the end. Also fell over and hurt my arm quite a bit - punishment for daring to run without the wristbrace...
At Blow Mine/Mia Mia - did part of the Vic School Girls and Boys Selection courses as a warm up, mostly with Rita - nice and rainy, but not too cold. Nice to run on an Australian map again.
10 medium, 20 hard, 10 really hard. Started part way to Khandallah Park and went down the track towards Lizzie's, then up Mt Kaukau - had to double back a bit to not reach the top before I got to the really hard bit, but miss-timed it slightly and had to go over the back and up again.

8 warm up, 22 warm down (longer than I had originally intended, but had to get down from the top of Kaukau and also got asked to help find a little boy (second time thats happened this year).
4x 2min reps with 1 min jogging recoveries - used the middle track up from Khandallah Park. Was feeling not quite 100% for some reason, but the second two were better than the first two.
From Karori Park up to the top of Makara and back down in a loop - mostly using mountainbike tracks. Died a bit on the hills, but the downhill was good fun. With Lizzie, Jamie B-W, Todd, Sarah, Magnus, Lisa, and Ramash.
