Note
(rest day)

The beginning of four days of rest, plus travelling to Dunedin. I did take my running stuff, but when visiting someone who isn't allowed to do any exercise at all its fairly impossible to do anything...

Tempo run (Subthreshold) 40:00 [3]

Up the road from just before Clearview to almost Clifton, then all the way back, past home and halfway along the waterfront to the river. Very dark and rainy, not all that fun. Think I got closer to sub-threshold level than last time.

Long Run 16:00 [3]

10 mins warm up, 6 mins warm down (then stretching for a while). Didn't warm down for as long because it was dark and rainy and I was sick of running alone in the dark:(

Long Run 52:09 [3]

9.6km around Havelock with Amber. Went out around Arataki way, along some very dark roads with some very strange noises going on. Good run, relaxed but fastish pace (slow for Amber though I think). Pretty tired from last night, butt muscles a wee bit tight.

Long Run 1:06:00 [3]

Harriers hill run. Different route today - longer hills than the other way. Good to change things around a bit as the other one was getting a bit boring. Didn't feel the fastest ever - a bit tired and legs a little bit heavy, but not too bad.

Other Sport (Indoor netball) 30:00 [3]

3/4 of the game. We won 32-38, pretty intense game, lots of pushing and vicious hands - I'm sure I'll have a few bruises tomorrow. Even got 45 mins to rest after running:)

Bike 1:00:00 [3]

In the dark again - alright once I got into it, but still managed to freak myself out a bit, especially near the streams. 10 mins warm up, 40 easy, 10 warm down - Tukituki Rd. The last 5 mins and the warm down were pretty bad as my front tyre was going flat - spent quite some time changing the tube when I got home, so glad I didn't decide to do that on the side of the road in the dark and cold...
