Bike 2:00:00 [3]
(injured)

Made to the gym in time to get the whole two hours in this time. Did some triathlon watching and went through a map from Telephone Track. Pretty quite morning for the gym it seemed like. Right knee got a little bit sore towards the end, which I think was from overloading it from the seat of the bike being too far forwards for me, which is annoying as its something I can't change.

Long Run 35:00 [3]
(injured)

Run down to the surf beach and back with Simon. Was supposed to be a rest day, but I got home at lunch time and it was too nice a day to not.

Bike 5:00 [3]
(injured)

Warm up. Feeling fairly crap - I think I have caught the horrible cold that is going around...

Bike 20:00 [3]
(injured)

20x 30s at power 7, cadence 100-110, with 30s power 4 recoveries. Must have been techno hour again, which was good for this part of the session. Felt like hard work, but then it was supposed to.

Long Run 40:00 [3]
(injured)

This was the hardest part today - the combination of feeling a bit sick and hungry and the techno made the first 20mins really hard, but the last 20 mins wasn't so bad.

Long Run 35:00 [3]
(injured)

To the surf beach and back with Simon. Along the beach on the way there, which felt like way harder work than it should have, but maybe that was the hard session yesterday. The beach is nice though, and slightly adds to the interest of an out and back run that I have done a bit too often.

Bike 35:00 [3]
(injured)

At the gym, cadence 90-100, power 4. Looked at maps from the long, relay, and Tekapo from South Island Nationals. Fair few rocks on the long map. Also the Tennis was on the TV, which was good.

Long Run 35:00 [3]
(injured)

Cross trainer. ~130 steps per min, power 8. Felt like hard work for some reason.

Long Run 20:00 [3]
(injured)

Actual running, around the sports fields and the canal thing in Havelock that the gym backs onto. Felt really hard for the first 10 mins after the cross trainer, but got into the swing of things towards the end.

Note
(injured)

Got my cast off and re-xrayed today - the fracture is worse than originally thought, with the distal pole/tubercle fractured right through. At least two more weeks of plaster, possible more than that. At least I have more finger movement with this one...

Long Run 32:00 [3]
(injured)

To Te Awanga domain and back. Quads a bit stiff.
