Note
(rest day)

Day four of conference, and flying home. Got back to Napier at 5.30 and was going to go for a run but was way too tired. Did manage to get dragged to the pools though, which was good, but unfortunately doesn't count as training...

Long Run 1:00:00 [3]

Run with Jamie, Penny, and Magnus before Jamie and Penny's house warming. From their house up the hill, along the skyline, up Makara in the wild weather, then down via Trickle Stream to the road then Karori Park and back. Fun times, plus good to get out of all the sitting around.

Note
(rest day)

RDA Conference in Wellington. Learning how to be a unionist, plus clay bird shooting and knife throwing. Fun!

Long Run 1:09:00 [3]

In the mud up Te Mata Peak - pretty nice to get up in the clouds, visibility about 100m at the top. Slippery as on the clay tracks though, which slowed me down. Same route as last time.

Note

Finally got around to getting a new jacket (which shouldn't leak...), so now I kind of hope the rain continues:)

Other Sport (Indoor netball) 40:00 [3]

Played centre the whole game. Definitely more skilled at soccer:)

Long Run 15:00 [3]

Run to netball in my new jacket in the rain:) It worked, as you would hope for something I had just bought from macpac... Too lazy to run home though when I got offered a lift (it was raining significantly more heavily by then though...).

Other Sport 1:00:00 [3]

Indoor soccer - start of the new season. It seems as though we have moved up a grade - the other two teams we played were all guys teams and much more skilled than previous teams. Hopefully this will lead to less injuries for our team - more actual soccer playing, less steamrollering. Lost both games but they were close ones and our skill level improved a lot.
