Relay in Woodhill. Made a mistake heading over to the far side of a vague hill and lost some time there, otherwise just tired from yesterday.

Long at Woodhill. 15min error early on (two mistakes on the same leg - one making a 90 degree error halfway through the leg, then again almost at the control, so when I couldn't find it didn't actually know whether I was close or somewhere totally different. Turned out I was about 20m away, but didn't know at the time...). I have not made a mistake that big in quite a long time:/

Oceania Sprint at Carrington. Disappointingly slow given that I only had one real mistake, while refolding the A3 map and not noticing when I ran past a building. Need to work on my speed and my tapering... Hopefully the next few days are better.

Note

Unexpected stay in Taumaranui on the way to Auckland, as the road was blocked by a slip from the cyclone. Terrible sleep with trucks going past the window all night.

Surfing at Lyall Bay - first time in Wellington and went quite well - nice easy break coming in, just really need to work on my paddling.
