Bike 1:05:00 [3]

First ride to work and back - about 25 mins there and 40mins back up the hill. On the way down realised my front break wasn't doing much, then that I couldn't change into my lowest gear, which proved to be a bit of a problem coming up Aro Valley on the way home - did eventually get it to change down but not ideal. Clearly haven't ridden my old bike for a while, as the new one is much nicer to ride - just wasn't sure about where I was leaving it and didn't want to come out to find my nice bike gone...

Long Run 49:00 [3]

Straight after biking home - thought I was going to be a bit slower, but turned out I was just warmed up so actually felt quite good, and the time included a little loop down a side street to check out a house for sale, so wasn't too bad at all.

Long Run 37:00 [3]

Warm up 10 mins, warm down 27 mins - got a lot further up the road than I thought and had to speed down in the semi darkness. Pretty sure I heard a wombat or two out there.

Tempo run 30:00 [3]

2x 15min hill intervals on Link Rd - the track up from my aunt and uncle's place in the Black Range. Nice upwards sloping track through the bush. Perfect place for this kind of run. Felt quite strong, second 15 much harder at the end than the first.

Long Run 1:20:30 [3]

Long run - same route as last two days but extended it at the end to go around another park close to the motorway that I wished I'd remembered a few days ago. Getting dark toward the end, but a better run now I know where I'm going.
