Long Run 3:11:00 [3]

River mission with the O Gang. Bulls Run road, about 40mins in to the river, then down the Whakatiki. Lot of bouldering/running/walking/swimming on the way out, excellent weather for it and I thought the water was warm until we go to the Hutt river and it was like a bath. Haven't done a classic Jamie-pplanned mission for a while and it was great - foot seemed to be fine today as well, now the swelling has gone down.

Got stung by a bee on the side of my foot and had the worst reaction I've ever had, with swelling to my knee, so a few days off running as I can't fit my shoes...

Run with Lizzie at Otari Bush on the hottest day in Wellington in 90 something years. Nice and cool down by the stream. Not so cool up on the skyline... Felt like I was keeping up better/able to push harder than other runs recently.

Loop up to the reserviour, Piwakawaka track and around Trelissick Crs as a recovery from yesterday. Saw two rabbits. Pretty slow.
